Chattanooga Outdoor Festival: Celebrating Chattanooga as an exciting outdoor destination through vendors, conservation, education, retail, music and community!

Gear up for adventure! Outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and adventure seekers of all ages are invited to come out and play at the second annual Chattanooga Outdoor Festival on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This exciting one day event will celebrate Chattanooga's diverse outdoor recreational opportunities and wild spaces with activities, vendors, demos, live music, beer garden, food and more!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Chattanooga in the historic Choo Choo Gardens, the Chattanooga Outdoor Festival will be a vibrant hub for outdoor enthusiasts and the outdoor curious to explore new hobbies, discover local businesses, demo the latest gear, and connect with the community.

This FREE, family-friendly festival brings together local businesses, retailers, non-profits, conservation organizations, and outdoor enthusiasts to celebrate and connect with Chattanooga's thriving outdoor community and foster environmental awareness.

Festival Highlights:

Outdoor Vendors + Conservation: Explore a diverse array of outdoor vendors showcasing the latest gear, apparel and products carefully crafted to elevate your outdoor experiences. Discover local guide services and outfitters for your next outdoor adventure while learning about the conservation and nonprofit organizations that protect the wild spaces Chattanooga cherishes. From sustainable outdoor essentials to sustainable outdoor recreation, you'll find everything you need for your next adventure. Vendor area sponsored by Gearhead Outfitters.

A Celebration of Community and Conservation: The Chattanooga Outdoor Festival isn’t just about fun — it’s about creating connections, supporting local businesses, and fostering stewardship of the outdoors. With sustainability as a core value, the festival aims to be a low-waste event with support from conservation-focused community partners like New Terra Compost.

Interactive Activities + Demos: Try your hand at new outdoor hobbies through hands-on demos led by local experts. Whether it’s mountain biking, paddling, or rock climbing, there’s an adventure for everyone.

Kids Zone: Spark a love for the outdoors with engaging activities for kids.
