Ensemble Theatre Of Chattanooga presents... Mockingbird, by Julie Jensen and based on the Newberry Award Winning novel by Kathryn Erskine.
The play focusses on an 11-year-old girl named Caitlin who is on the autism spectrum. Suddenly, she must grapple with the unthinkable: a mass shooting has taken her brother away. She struggles to understand empathy, what facial expressions mean and why a drawing might have more than one color.
