The Immersion Gallery. Perceptions will be changed. Expectations will be subverted. Senses will be elevated.
By now you've heard about the Immersion Gallery.
A couple of your friends caught the Soft Opening in December and mentioned it to you, right? They bought tickets for our February Event but we sold out before you got yours.
Is that what happened? Well now!! Here's your chance to get in before everybody else.
The Immersion Gallery is pleased to announce the release of tickets for Event No. 3! Our March 4 Event will be your last chance to see three of our original Themes - Plant Based, Blue Ruin and Serial Killers+Pinups (of course we will have added new work to all of these shows and, as is our way, picked up the Wunderkammer by the corners and given it a good shake!) We'll have fabulous poetry (scheduled to appear - R.N. Letterman, Daniel Ortega, Joshua Hubbard, and maybe some special guests!) We're looking forward to music by Old Time Traveler through our new-to-us PA! We'll astonish with a clay throwing demonstration by Loren Howard of Scenic City Clay Arts and a painting demo by the Immersion Gallery's very own Ruth Pearl. Maybe you could be one of her models! Crystalline Creative will thrill you with dance, floor lighting and not-so sensible shoes. Sean Phipps and members of his Ambush Improv Troupe will baffle while they inform and inform while they baffle! Cortenay Cholovich will move you with her Performance Art piece, "YOU DON'T KNOW HIM LIKE I KNEW HIM". We are proud to announce the return (for an unprecedented THIRD Event) of one of our favorite guest artists, Green Skull Designs. The Immersion Gallery is also pleased to announce the inclusion of Emily Compton as well as Kris Bespalec to our Event. Emily will be showing off her handmade, one-of-a-kind collage tarot card designs and Kris will be doing short tarot card readings - first come, first served. As always, we will have wine, tasty treats, our now-famous Toy Box and of course, all the great Immersion Gallery Artists who you've come to know and love!
You don't want to miss this one, folks!
