Where are all the women on wheels going? To celebrate International Women's Day with a bike ride!
Celebrate International Women’s Day on Two Wheels!
Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day with a group ride on the Guild Trail—because bicycles have long been a symbol of women’s freedom and independence.
Women’s rights activist Susan B. Anthony said it best:
"Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel—the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood."
We couldn’t agree more! So let’s ride, laugh, and make them all wonder: "Where are all the women on wheels going? Is there a grand rendezvous somewhere that will cause this wobbly old world to wake up and readjust itself?"
Yes! Let’s rendezvous at the Guild Trailhead on Ochs Hwy at 5:00 PM (wheels down at 5:30 PM) and shake things up. Ride at your own pace, climb as far as you’d like, and enjoy the camaraderie. We’ll share stories and smiles before turning around and flying back down—cackling the whole way!
This is a social, casual, and inclusive ride celebrating women's liberation, independence, and progress toward equality. No rider will be left behind.
📌 Requirements: A signed waiver and helmet are required. Lights are recommended.
And for those who want to keep the celebration going, join us afterward for food, drinks, and good company as we toast to adventure and sisterhood on two wheels!
