Invasive Species Walk

Join Byron Brooks, our Invasive Species Specialist, on several dates this spring for a short walk around the property to take a closer look at invasive species common in our area. Byron will delve into the origins of these alien plants, along with discussing why they are so harmful to our native biodiversity, and what management techniques can be taken to eradicate these biological threats.

These programs will happen outdoors, so don't forget to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring along anything else you might need to enjoy time outdoors in this season. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be cancelled.
