This special event will open with poetry from local youth who are excited to share their work with you.
Following a brief intermission, this event will become ADULTS ONLY as the stage is set for memorable performances inspired by James Baldwin's revolutionary life.
Local poets and musicians will perform to set the mood for a night of poetry for the ages. Enjoy their original works inspired by video clips of Baldwin’s fight for civil rights, keeping the movement alive.
