SPRING BREAK SAFARI AT THE BLUFF VIEW ART DISTRICT

by

@

8am-9pm

Be an Artisanal Adventurer during Spring Break Safari! Be an Artisanal Adventurer and explore the Bluff View Art District’s cultural nooks and crannies. Learn about the arts, architecture, gardening, and cooking techniques that make up the District. Pick up your “Artisanal Adventurer Map” at Rembrandt’s Coffee House. Once you have solved the mysteries of your quest, return to Rembrandt’s for your sweet reward (for children 12 and under).

Find out what it’s like to be a Starving Artist. Grab your “Artist Notebook” at the River Gallery and head to the River Gallery Sculpture Garden. Write about or draw the kind of meal the artist would use to inspire their work. Does the bent metal of Frank Stella’s “Borsippa” bring about dreams of spaghetti and meatballs? Feed your imagination with this adventure combining food and art!

As you search for clues throughout the District, allow the smells in the air to bring your scavenger hunt to life! Do you smell the savory aroma of roasting garlic coming from Bluff View Bakery? How about the bold, fragrant scent of coffee beans roasting at Rembrandt’s Roasting Company? What about the sugary, sweet bliss of fresh chocolate chip cookies from Rembrandt’s Pastry Kitchen? There is something for everyone here at Bluff View Art District!
