Velvet Chair Experience is a fusion of Jazz and Uptown Soul featuring the smooth and sultry vocals of Karen Collins serenading guests over great food and libations in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere! The event will also feature Dexter Bell and Friends and other surprise musical guests and entertainers!
The Velvet Chair Experience is a classic evening of Jazz and Uptown Soul featuring the smooth and sultry vocals of Karen Collins, accompanied by live musicians, serenading music lovers over great food and libations in the legendary performance hall of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center.
This intimate and personalized musical experience will allow music lovers to have an opportunity to be up close and personal with the music they love all while socializing in an elegant evening atmosphere.
The Velvet Chair Experience will also feature Dexter Bell & Friends and other surprise musical guest and entertainers, as well as, a Velvet Selfie Lounge for photos.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 28th, 2023 at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center located at 200 MLK Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 37403.
Doors will open at 6pm with soft jazz, dancing, food and cocktails. Show starts at 7pm.
